Ms. Black was born in Boston Massachusetts to the late Lawrence and Christa O’Neil. She made Augusta, GA her home for the past 50 plus years. She loved the beach, flowers and adored her grandchildren.
Ms. Black is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Christa O’Neil; and sister, Christa Hyman. Survivors include her children, Kerrie Bailey (Andy Smith) and Keith Bailey; siblings, Larry O’Neil (Laura), William O’Neil, Patrick O’Neil (Robin), Shelia Reed, Diana Sherman, and Shana Sutphin (Joe); and grandchildren Kathleen Bailey and Kadence Bailey.
A memorial will be held at 4pm on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to United Way of the CSRA, 1765 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30904.
