Leo A. Durrence

Augusta, Ga- Mrs. Leo Kennedy Durrence, 77, beloved wife of Delbert Durrence, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 12, 2017. Mrs. Durrence was born in Glennville, Georgia and has been a resident of Augusta for the last 38 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leolin and Macie Kennedy; stepfather, D.B. Smith; two brothers, Don and Vondese Kennedy; great niece, Ashley Stroud and great nephew, Taylor Durrence.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Delbert; son, Steven Durrence; sisters, Betty Durrence, Janet Anderson and Marynell Barnard; brothers Larry and Wayne Kennedy and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Lumpkin Road Baptist Church, 2540 Lumpkin Road Augusta, Ga. The family will be receiving friends at 2 PM until the service hour. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Keith Stroud, Logan Stroud, Brandon Stroud, Clayton Watson, Corey Durrence and Greg Durrence will serve as pallbearers.
