Lina Frances Fulton

Ms. Lina Frances Fulton, 79, of Augusta passed away Wednesday January 12, 2011. After traveling the world, Frances returned to Augusta and worked at Georgia Regional Hospital where she retired with over twenty dedicated years of service. Frances was a friend to everyone and had many treasured friends. She was past president of American Legion Post 205 and held various other titles. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

Ms. Fulton is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Joseph and Alef Wingo Smith; her husband, Robert “Bob” Fulton; and her son, James Kenneth Nichols. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Robert DeVane; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Melba Nichols; seven grandchildren, James Noonan-Sloan, Joel Sloan, Jason, Zachary, Timothy, Heather and Christopher Nichols; nine great-grandchildren, Harley, Joshua, Adam, Alexus, Faith, Trenten, Dash, Robbie and Tyler.

Graveside services will be held, 1PM, Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

A memorial service will follow, 3 PM, Saturday at St. John Towers, 724 Greene Street, Augusta, Georgia 30901 with Pastors Roger Schwartz and Michael Farmer officiating.
