Mrs. Margaret Coleman Chapman entered into rest on Friday, March 31, 2017.Mrs. Chapman enjoyed life. She was always happy, enjoyed watching soap operas, talking on the phone and doing crossword puzzles. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her family. Mrs. Chapman is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Chapman; parents, George and Reba Coleman; and numerous brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, Cathy Eatman, Teddy Sprouse (Tammy), Cindy Martin (Chuck) and Amy Ledford (Eric); sister, Ruby Boyd (Donnie); 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; her beloved dog, Petey; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 6-8pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road. Funeral services will be held at 12pm, Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Mr. Dean Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
