Mr. Thomas was a Vietnam Combat Veteran who served his country in the United States Army. He was employed for many years as a Sheet Metal Fabricator and even owned his own business at one time in Augusta, GA. He was also a Car Club Member in the CSRA Road Angels and enjoyed NHRA racing.
Mr. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Thelma Thomas; and brother, Ralph Wilson Thomas Jr. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Ellen Thomas; sons, Christopher Thomas (Emily), Jason Thomas (Janet) and Kevin Thomas; brothers, T. Wesley Thomas, James H. Thomas and Patrick Thomas; sister, Ginny Angle; grandchildren, Lauren, Allie, Mikey and Trey; and great-grandchildren, Madison and Caiden Karwacki.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road on Thursday, December 2, 2021. A reception will follow immediately after the visitation at the funeral home.
