HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Mickey J. Weeks, of Hephzibah, passed away Thursday, January 03, 2013. He worked as a painter for Richmond County BOE for a number of years. Mickey was a loving husband, father and Papa who will be dearly missed. Mr. Weeks is survived by his wife, Margaret Weeks; children, David (June) Weeks, Jennifer Harrell, Patricia Fallow, Elizabeth Taylor, Michael (Misty) Winters and Michael Rathbone; adopted daughter, Debra Perkins; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Gordon Weeks; sisters, Sandra Thompson and Dorothy Brown; longtime friends and caregivers, Shirley Harrell and Harold Beasley. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 PM Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
