Augusta,GA- Mr. Paul Edward Wilson age 86, husband of the late Sallie Naomi Wilson

entered into rest at the VA Hospital in Augusta,GA on May 12, 2010.

Funeral services with full military honors will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Rd. Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Willis Everett officiating. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Survivors include, daughters, Paulette Wilson of Augusta, Annice Meeler and husband Zack of Martinez, sons, Bobby L.Wilson and wife Sherrel of Grovetown, Bruce Albert Wilson and Cynthia Wilson of Augusta. Brothers, Hubert Wilson of Lexington, TN, Curtis Wilson of Bartlett,TN. Sisters, Helen Wilson and Virginia Rhodes of Lexington,TN , Patricia Thornton of Byhalia,MS.and Annie Wilkins of Huron,TN. Grandchildren, Melissa Daniel and Chad, Kimberly Fennell and Justin, Chad Wilson, Shannon Jenkins and Steve. Four great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Edward Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was born in Henderson, TN. to the late Edd and Evelyn Wilson .He served in the US Army, he was a veteran of WW II, the Korean War and Vietnam . During his tours of duty he received the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. Mr. Wilson will be missed by his family and friends. He loved his country and he was a great husband, father, grandfather, great- grand father, and brother. He was most proud of his family and his extended Tennessee family.
