Mr. Raul Morales

Mr. Morales was a native of Puerto Rica, but has lived most of his life in Augusta. He was a retired CW2 US Army Veteran with 27 years of service. After retiring from the Army he served 15 years with the Civil Service.

Mr. Morales was preceded in death by his wife Elsie T. Morales and his two sons, Victor Morales and Hector Morales. Survivors include her children, Elsie Rivera (Victor), Norma Rivera, Raul “Sas” Morales (Angie), Gladys “Lily” Peacher (Mark), Carmen Leger, and Diane Morales; grandchildren, Jennifer Morales, Norma Rivera, Melissa Peacher, Michelle Beck, Lisa Morales, Elsie Jones, Joseph Morales, Amber Leger, Chelsea Morales, Reatha Morales; and great-grandchildren, Carlos Peacher, Blake Rivera, Sean Clayborne, Harlee Jones, and Ava Beck.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home Lumpkin Rd. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Lumpkin Rd. Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, with full Military Honors.
