

Hephzibah, Georgia- Mr. Rudolph P. “Tut” James, 83, entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 30, 2017. Mr. James was a hardworking man and he took much pride in his work, especially his garden. Tut was a lifelong member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters LU #150 and worked for the City of Hephzibah for 10 years after his retirement. He was a family-oriented person, who was willing to help anyone he could. Tut will be missed by his family and friends and leaves a large void in our lives for years to come.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 36 years, Mrs. Cheryl James; his children, Michael P. James, Sherry Lynn (Terry) Weaver, Roger D. (Teresa) James, Harry E. (Susan) Peebles, Alison S. Peebles; sisters, Barbara Creed, JoAnn Rountree and Betty Shirey; brother, Mac James; 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and special friends, Eddie Dobbs and A. Frank Williams.
Graveside services for Mr. Rudolph James will be held 2 PM Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Hephzibah – Vance Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends 6 PM until 8 PM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Roger A. James, Raymond James, Andrew Williams, Paul Williams, Robert Buchwitz, John Buchwitz and Richard Marcano. Members of the LU #150 will serve as Honarary Pallbearers.
