Sonia Dorothy Killoran

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 11am at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Born in Cornwall Ontario Canada, she was the daughter of the late Louis Gerald Samson and Marie Houle Samson. She moved to Augusta from Cornwall forty years ago. She graduated from nursing school as a registered nurse. She was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church and participated in the Relay for Life. Sonia was a Jill of all trades, who enjoyed swimming, camping, and fishing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Louisette Delage’, Marcelle Montroy, brother-in-laws, Robert Montroy, and Earl Delage’. She is survived by her son, Ronnie (Wanda) Killoran, Augusta, GA; daughter, Karen (James) Geeting, Augusta, GA; brother, Jacque Samson, grandchildren, Jessica Killoran and Kiana Killoran.

The family will receive friends at the Killoran residence on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, GA, 30907.

Mrs. Sonia Dorothy Killoran, 66, of Augusta, GA passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Doctor’s Hospital.
