HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - William Charles Cummings entered into rest May 16, 2011. Funeral services will be held 3PM Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, Georgia with Rev. David D. Stockton officiating. Full military honors will be accorded. Mr. Cummings was a loving husband and father. He was in the United States Army for 27 years where he acquired the title of Master Sargeant. Mr. Cummings was preceded in death by a son, Randall Henderson. Survivors include his wife, Ann Cummings; three daughters, Malana (Robert) Ruhl, Kaye Foote, and Shane (Mark) Avery; a son, Joseph Henderson; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Towner and Barbara Brown. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Hospice, 2803 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, Georgia 30909.
