was a native of Richmond County and lived here all his life. He was a faithful member of the
Crawford Avenue Baptist Church. An avid Braves fan, he looked forward to kicking back watching
the game. He served his country with gratitude in the United States Army for six years.
Mr. Ivey was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Ivey. Left to cherish his memories
is his daughter, Sheila (Fred) Eskew; granddaughter, Jessica Eskew; special friends, Doc and
Joyce Meadows and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Mr. Ivey will be held 3PM Sunday, April 30, 2017, at the Lumpkin Road Chapel
of Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
