Candice Louise Davidson was born in Denver, Colorado on January 1, 1952 to Robert and Marcelline Knodel. Candy, as she was lovingly known, was congenial and outgoing all of her life. She found making friends easy. Candy graduated from Denver's West High School, where she and sister, Cherrie were apart of the singing Christmas Tree. Early in her career Candy worked for a natural gas and petroleum company and later, for the State of Colorado in the transportation department. She made many friends with her kind personality. She retired from the State after 27 years.
Candy was described as someone who was hard headed, but soft hearted. Her key phrases to comfort or provide wisdom to family members and friends were "Make good choices" or "This too shall pass." She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Cynthia and Cherrie; adopted brother, John; extended family members, and many, many friends. Candy joins her parents and many of the animals she loved throughout her life.
