She was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on August 6, 1931 to Howard G. Hayes and Inez Marie Hayes.
Doreen graduated from Rapid City High School, and workd as an administrative assistant.
She raised 3 children: Judy Igo, Craig Hurst, and Stephen Hurst.
She is the proud grandmother of Jason and Bryce Igo, and Brandon Hurst.
She is the proud great grandmother of Elinor Igo.
Doreen enjoyed hiking, listening to music, traveling, and enjoying nature.
Doreen is predeceased by her two children, Craig, and Stephen Hurst.
