

Margaret Ann Gartrell, 55, born in 1964 in Ladysmith Wisconsin to Kathie Schmitz Radka and Michael Radka, passed away on early Wednesday, June 26, 2019, following a 14-year hard-fought battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband Roger Gartrell, son Evan Gartrell, mother Kathie Schmitz Nielsen (Carl), step-daughters Crystal Gartrell and Heather (Kurt) Sala, sister Judee (Frank) Bartel, sister Susie (Greg) Austin, sister Carrie (Glenn) Londre, Aunt Mary Margaret (Roger) Bebie, Uncle Ken (Jeanne) Schmitz, Uncle Joe (Julie) Schmitz, mother-in-law Margaret H. Gartrell, sisters-in-law Juli Fisk & Debra Gartrell, brother-in-law Jim Skulavik, nieces/nephews Erick Bartel, Christopher Bartel, Katie Bartel, Allie Austin, Amy Austin, Anna Austin, Carson Sippel, Emma Sippel, Ken Gartrell, Casey Fisk, Kayla Fisk, and beloved step-grandchildren Dylan, Ashlan, Hailey, & Tyler.
She was preceded in death by grandparents Hank & Hazel Schmitz, cousin Kelsey Schmitz and father Michael Radka.
Margaret grew up in rural Green Bay Wisconsin. She attended Holy Martyrs Catholic grade school and continued on to Luxemburg Casco school system for junior and senior high. Margaret moved to Denver in 1982 with her loyal friend Laurie Stephens. She married Roger Gartrell in 1990 and devoted her life to their son Evan Gartrell. Through the years she never lost her love for Wisconsin. She dearly loved her sisters and held a special place in her heart for them filled with life-long, happy memories. She also never lost her love for the green and gold world of the Green Bay Packers.

Margaret was an inspriation to everyone's life she touched. She will forever be in our hearts and her smile will never be forgotten.
