

Bob was born on August 11, 1926 to Paul and Anna Bordner in Denver, Colorado, and lived his entire life in Bennett, Colorado. Surrounded by his family, Bob passed away on November 2, 2013. He was a World WarII Veteran. Bob was rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in the Bennett/Strasburg area for 37 years. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Antoinette, daughters; Jan Lash (Reedy), Joan Stemo (Joe), Nancy Barden (Kevin), 7 grandchildren; Derek Borrego (Alicia), Julie Bavouset (Jeff), Scott Stemo, CJ Stemo, Jesse Stemo, Luke Barden (Karla), Alyson Meyer (Kyle), 6 great grandchildren; Tristan Borrego, Jacob Borrego, Madelyn Bavouset, Jared Bavouset, Kolton Barden and Macy Meyer. He is also survived by two brothers; Bill Bordner (Barbara) and Dick Bordner (Avis), and one sister; Barbara Cronk and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers our family requests donations to be made to the Robert Bordner Scholarship Fund in honor of his love of education and kids by helping students achieve their educational dreams. Contributions can be made to The Robert Bordner Scholarship Fund

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Plains Catholic Church; 186 North McDonnell, Byers, on Thursday, November 7th, 2013 from 5:00PM-7:00PM with Rosary Service starting at 7:00PM
Funeral Service will be held at Our Lady of the Plains Catholic Church; 186 North McDonnell, Byers, on Friday, November 8th, 2013 at 10:30AM, following funeral will be a Committal Service with Military Honors atMountview Cemetery in Bennett.
