

Robert spent his early life in Louisiana in the Sunset and Lafayette areas. He owned two businesses and was also employed in sales work. He liked people, was very engaging and social, making him well suited to his career opportunities. He lived the last 21 years in the Parker and Castle Rock areas of Colorado. He made many friends every where he lived and worked.
Robert loved children. He never had any of his own. His special gift was to give his time and talents to nieces and children of friends, They loved him dearly and looked forward to all the adventures he afforded them.
Robert loved history. He was an expert on Civil War history. A trip with Robert to any historical site was a fascinating tour of life and events in those times. He not only knew the historical facts and important places but also captivated his listeners with tidbits on life, habits, horses and little known facts of historical figures. His love of history led him to do an extensive family tree on the Boudreau family.
Robert loved to travel whenever he could. His destinations often took him through and to places of art and culture as well as history.
He loved to cook, with Chinese food being a particular interest. He amassed several pieces of specialized cookware and even had custom outfits he wore while cooking.
Books and movies were favorite pastimes for him.
Robert always had a smile on his face and could be counted on to make others laugh. He was an ambassador for laughter and happiness in the moment.
In his final moments, Robert was surrounded by family. His beloved Violet held his hand until he went to Jesus.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Boudreau and Margaret Lafleur. Those left to cherish his memory are his sister Tippy (Patricia) Corbello and her husband Butch (Walter) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; his brother Jim (James) Boudreau and his wife Brenda of Stephenville, Texas; stepbrother Darren Lafleur of Sunset, Louisiana; dear and special friend Heidi Grijalva of Castle Rock, Colorado; nieces: Camille Czubuski and her husband Mike of Belle Chase, Louisiana; Kirsten Dodson and her husband Eric of Oviedo, Florida; Jill Corbello of Lee's Summit ,Missouri; Susan Corbello Becker and her husband Scott of Kingsville, Missouri; Ashley Corbello and Mario Mora of Independence, Missouri; Jennifer Ramaeker and her husband Jason of Lone Jack, Missouri: "adopted" granddaughters Violet Grijalva and Lindy Grijalva both of Castle Rock, Colorado; nephew (Jimbo) James Boudreau and his wife Christy of Hilliard, Ohio; Shawn Nixon and his wife Lisa of Waco, Texas; ten great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Castle Rock- a celebration of life will be held Saturday August 31,2024 at 10:30am at the Pavillion in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Castle Rock
