Roberta Jane Haffner (Crockett) also known as “Curly" growing up and “Jane” by friends, was born to William H. Crockett and Cora M. Crockett of Sheffield, Illinois. After graduating from High School, she entered the United States Air Force, which was a highlight in her life. She worked on airplanes and always wanted to learn to fly. She was the most gracious and humble golfer.
