
Sharolyn Donna (Smith) Struble was born in Denver, CO and was raised in Aurora, CO. She attended and graduated from Hinkley High School in 1970. She married David Struble on April 4, 1971 and moved to Salinas, CA while her husband served in the U.S. Army. Sharolyn (Shari) returned to Aurora in February 1972 where she lived until 1976 at which time she moved Arlington, TX. Shari moved back to Aurora in 1978 and lived here for the rest of her life. Shari attended the Community College of Aurora and studied Anthropology, which allowed her the opportunity to travel and study Anthropology and Archeology in Mexico, Peru, and Egypt. Shari was employed at the Holiday Inn in Aurora at E. Colfax and I-225, and later at the True Value store at Buckley Road and E. Illiff Avenue. Shari also worked in Guest Services for Invesco Field at Mile High, and with the Guest Services Group for the Denver Grand Prix. Shari had a strong in interest in native-American culture and was an accomplished silver smith. Shari is survived by her son, Brett Allen Struble and his wife Nicole Nagle, and their two children, Kaden and Brinley.
Graveside services for family members is being held Friday at 3:00pm 17 January 2014 at East Lawn Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at Bethel Lutheran Church at 4:00pm.
