Andreas was a loving husband to Irena until her passing over 10 years ago.
He will be missed by his devoted sister Theresa (Tino Tramontin) of Aurora and also sister Ellen (Rainer Tews) of Vancouver. He leaves behind his sister Theresa’s children, Janet (Don Knott) and their children, Eric and Shelby and the children of her late daughter Christine (Andrew Waite), Mitchell and Austin (Onella), as well as his sister Ellen’s children Marc and Andrea.
Born in 1936 in Germany to Karl and Edith (Menzel). The family immigrated to Canada in 1956, where he spent his career as a tool & die maker.
Andreas enjoyed good health until being diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma fourteen years ago. Against all odds Andreas rallied and went into remission continuing a good life until his passing.
He enjoyed spending lots of time at the cottage where he loved to fish. Andreas loved watching soccer, listening and playing music including, the harmonica, organ and accordion. He was a kind man and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
