Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family in his 97th year on Wednesday September 5 2018. Dear husband of the late Marg (2010). Loving father of Judy (Ed), Bob (Donna), Heather (the late Kevin, 2018), Betty (George). Proud grandfather of Amy (Dre), Phil (Chantale), Katie (Kristian), Brady, Johnlee (Theresa), Michael and Julia. Great grandfather of Amelia, James and Jackson. Arnold was predeceased by his brothers Don (Marge), Victor (late Carine) and Neal. Arnold was a content and positive person he loved the great outdoors, gardening, hunting and fishing, reading, visiting the apple orchard and sitting back and listening to his family's antics. He was a World War II Veteran, airplane mechanic and volunteer firefighter. He will be missed by all who knew him, a special thanks to all who gave him loving care and comfort especially his favorite on West One at Newmarket Health Centre, he was grateful and appreciative for his wonderful life. He was a #GoodEgg. Wow!
Visitation for Arnold will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Queensville United Church, 20453 Leslie Street, Queensville, ON L0G1R0, followed by a Funeral Service at 12noon. Interment at Queensville Cemetery to follow.
