 Sorry for your loss, my condolences. Your Mom and Dad hold special memories in my heart. They gave me great advice in times of need in the short time I knew them. It was a blessing for me to meet them and I was grateful to be their neighbour.
 I remember I was doing some Renos at my house one year, with a crew of guys, We had been working hard for days. Your Mom was so kind to bake us a Homemade Lasagna and the guys just loved it. Brenda knew we needed some fuel to continue. 😁 May she rest in peace, and that she be reunited with Big Mike!!

I am grateful to have known Brenda and also to have met her wonderful family. I will always remember growing up seeing them just a few rows in front of us at Our Lady of Grace every Sunday. She was always cheerful and very welcoming to me (and tolerant of Dominic and my mischief from time to time...). My fondest memories with her are having dinner with Dominic, Brenda and Michael in their home in Aurora and when she visited with us in Barrie at my son's baptism.  I pray she is in place of rest, peace and relaxation and our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

My heart is heavy today hearing about the passing of your Mom .
I wish I could of attended her service yesterday but as you know I was away on vacation.
Brenda's smile and laughs always brighten my day!
Dominic & Rupert, although she has left us on earth, she will live on with all her memories we have of her and in our prayers!
She is now reunited with Mike.

Hi Dom and Rupe,

So sad to hear of your Mum's passing.   
I have lots of memories from when we lived in London and your Mum lived at the top of our street. From her hanging her first ever piece of wallpaper to walking home with one eye closed as she had lost a contact lens.
She will always be remembered.

Aunty Margaret here - your Mum's older sister. Its so hard to know she is no longer here. She will be so sadly missed. She was such a caring gentle person and always kept an eye out for me when living up the road to me in London.

Dear Dominic, Rupert and families

Brenda was a special sister.

As a younger sister of Brenda we had great times when we lived together in London during out late teens and early 20's.
Brenda always took the trouble to look out for me and was continually by my side as we navigated life in 1970's London. 

Although we have been living apart in different countries for many years we always felt close and had some very long lively phone calls together.

Her protective arm will be greatly missed but the fond memories of my big sister will forever live on.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mom.  I hope all of those amazing memories of her that you cherish will somehow help to fill the void you must now feel.  I will never forget her...  I was very young when we would see your parents more often and I will always remember her calling me "Briggy", the cuddles and always being so loving towards my sisters and I.  What a beautiful soul she was indeed.

Godspeed  Brenda, good friend  mother and wife to my brother .
I met you in the UK late 70's... You had some strange northern sayings such as  "There's enough to cobble dogs with !"
This, I learned was used to describe a serious surplus of something.

You  were the person who brought order to a house full of men,
often a rare talent. Dominic and Rupert are a great credit to you and Mike.  It took one strong lady.
We wish we could have lived closer, but glad we were always welcome to visit....pleasant memories !

I am so sorry this time has come and send you so much love. Your Mom was so kind and generous to me as a child. She would take me and my sister sightseeing, feed us, and talk and listen to us. We had many wonderful adventures with Auntie Brenda and Uncle Mike, and felt we mattered to them. There are two more stars in the heaven now and I know they are dancing with my Mom.
