Cyril David Cook

He will be forever loved and missed by his wife and best friend of over 59 years, Susan. Dave was a loving and always proud dad of his daughters Debbie (Stephen ) Crake and Leanne (Andy) Graham. Proud Poppa to Hayley (Ben), Colin, Shannon and Connor and Great Poppa to Parker.

He was predeceased by his parents Cyril and Jane Cook, and his brother's Leslie and Tony and sister Pamela. Dave is survived by his brother Derek (Jeannie) Sykes, his sister Brenda Cook and his sister-in-law Pauline Sykes. Remembered by extended family and friends who are like family. He will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, life long friends, dear neighborhood friends and his New Mechanical friends.

Dave enjoyed time with friends and family and thrived when he was helping those around him. He enjoyed travel with Susan and embarked on a wonderful journey together. He will be missed in his neighborhood where he was often seen walking their dog Bobbie.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, will be gratefully accepted by his family.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am on June 30, 2023 at Thompson Funeral Home in Aurora. 530 Industrial Pky S, Aurora. Refreshments to follow.
