Passed away peacefully Sunday, September 18th, 2016, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, in his 78 year.
Survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Eleanor (Rutledge Risebrough) and his daughter Lisa Cameron (Bruce), proud grandfather of Draedon and Bennett Cameron. Fondly remembered by his step daughters Jill Winter (Bob), Jo Ann Miles (Norn) and Janet Dodgson (Steve) and his step grandchildren, Jenna Winter, Erin Krohe (Jon), Alex and Maddie Miles, Kyle Dodgson (Lindsey), Carly Gledhill (Luke) and his great grandson Cedar Krohe.
Visiting will be held on Monday October 3, 2016, from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at the King City United Church (50 Elizabeth Grove) followed by a Memorial Service that will commence at 2:00 o’clock.
Don grew up on a farm in Nobleton , moving to King City in 1946, then to Edgewood Farm in 1978.
After working for the Ministry of Transportation for 37 years as Consultant Assignment Officer, Don retired in 1992 to pursue his love of farming full time operating pick your own strawberries and raspberries at Edgewood Farm.
