DOROTHY EDNA BUTLER (nee Allcock) (1925-2026) - With grace and dignity Dorothy concluded her life’s journey on February 1, 2026. At the age of 100 years Dorothy had lived a full, vibrant, active life touching countless lives with warmth, kindness and joy leaving cherished memories to forever warm and comfort our hearts. As we bid farewell to her infectious, easy smile and bright soul we trust that the light of her memory will shine on our paths with the depth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though she has now traversed the horizon of our sight, her essence remains a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of her strong faith and strength.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husbands and loves, Stuart Emil Neundorf (1984) and Harold Robert Butler (2021). She is survived by and will be missed by her daughter, Jill Weir-McLean (Bob McLean), step-daughters, Brynn Green (Joe) and Mary Butler-Gretton (John Gretton), grandchildren, John, Shauna (Mark), Ryan (Tara), Aaron (Stephanie), Kyle (Robin), Travis, Dylan (Pam), Paula (Emmett), Charlie (Hannah), Will (Ryann) and 11 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended families and friends including her United Church family.
Dorothy will be interred at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto during a private family service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations in Dorothy’s name be made to the Aurora United Church or Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
