Freda (Clark) Emmerson

It is with great sadness that the family of Freda Emmerson announce her passing at the IOOF in Barrie, Ontario on April 19th, 2023, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of Don Emmerson. Cherished mother of Don, Doug and Rob (Jennifer) Emmerson. Proud grandmother of Rachel and Brooke. Loving daughter of the late Howard and Laura Clark. Dear sister of Olive (Carman) Piercy, Erma Markey, Glenna Boston (Bob Rankin). Predeceased by her brother Bruce Clark and sisters Helen Sheardown, Lois Ward and Mary Carberry. Freda will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family is very grateful to all of the staff at the Barrie IOOF for their compassionate care of Mom over the past four years.

Visitation, funeral service and reception will take place at Thompson’s Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 25th from 5pm-8pm and Wednesday, April 26th from 10am - 12pm. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 26th at 12pm, followed by a reception.
