He will be deeply missed by his sisters Brenda Bennett and Margie (Terry Goldson), predeceased by his sister Nancy Vesprey. George will also be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
George drove transport for over 46 years. He had a great love of music, especially country music. He was a talented singer and guitarist, playing in a band that performed in bars, at events, and on the Tommy Hunter Show. He also enjoyed sports, particularly hockey and baseball, and could often be found tinkering with his cars in the garage.
As per George’s wishes, the family will gather privately to celebrate his life and cherish the memories they hold dear.
