With great sadness, the family would like to announce the passing of Donald on October 5, 2015 at age 91 years. He was married to the late Betty H. Hamilton (nee Cridland) in 1947. He was predeceased by his son Dwight, brother Heath and sister Iris. Don will be terribly missed by his sister Heather. And his children, Jennifer (Robert), Eric (Miriam), Laurel (James), and Garth (Elizabeth). Ten lovely grandchildren will miss their Grandpa, Marcus, Matthew, Alexander, Andrew, Lindsay, Katie, Christopher, Jonathan, Keith and Jennifer. Also, one great- grandson, Chase. Don served in WW2, at the Department of National Defense Naval Service. He is a graduate from U of T, and earned his degree in Electrical Engineering.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 27, 2015 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway, Aurora, ON. Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations would be kindly appreciated for the Aurora United Church Future Fund. (to go toward rebuilding the new Church, which succumbed to fire , April 2014
