Janet Marilyn Hill, 69, beloved wife of Wayne, died at Southlake Regional Health Centre on October 14, 2015. Born to Alex and Ruby Virtue on December 15, 1945, in East York, she lived in Windsor, Toronto, Barrie and most recently Whitchurch-Stouffville and worked for Sears and a Sears franchise until she retired. Janet was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ who served others with love and compassion right to the end of her days.
Beloved sister to Carol Rawnsley, Janet is survived by her sons Dave and his wife Carolyn and their sons John and Nathan of Elmira, Kevin and his wife Jennifer and their daughter Michelle of Wasaga Beach, Aaron and his partner Chrissie Sparr and their children Kiersten, Alex, Tia, Michael and Ryan of Barrie, and her step-children Nancy and her husband Colonel David Warnick (U.S. Army) and their daughters Sarah and Natalie, and Ian Hill and his wife Rae and their daughters Ivy and Ryn.
A memorial service will be held Saturday November 7 at 2:00pm at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora.
