It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Janice Nelson. Cherished, and beloved wife of Brian Nelson. Born in Felix’s Cove, Newfoundland, and predeceased by her parents, Genevieve and Austin Sheppard. Loved sister of Gervis, Hillary, Linda, Jackie, Gina, Austin, and Wayne. Janice will be greatly missed by her loving friends, especially Carol-Anne Bandiera, a very caring Dianne Smith, Tanya Smith, and by many other loved ones in Newfoundland and Ontario. Max, Janice’s feline companion will also be lost without her. Janices’s smile would light up every room she graced, and we are all thankful that she was able to enjoy her holiday with Brian in June. Friends may call at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora (905 727-5421) on Friday July 19 from 2-4, and 6-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church, 16347 Yonge Street, Aurora on Saturday July 20 at 10am. Cremation. Donations to Toronto General Hospital Cancer Research would be appreciated.
