

Daughter of the late Laura May Cain and Samuel Maitland MacDonald.
Reunited with her devoted husband Grant and cherished son Larry.
Beloved mother to Glenn (Robin), Gary (Kelly), Colleen (Peter) and Gregory. Proud Grama of Falyn (Pat), Dara (Dan), Samantha, Karina, Kristine (Ghyslain), Katie (Bruce), Lindsay (Amr), Jesse (Paige), Cody and Callie. Proud Gigi to Maggie, Stephan, Alyssa, Maeva, Natalie, Kenzie, Bennett & Ridley.
Also survived by adoring brother Murray and fondly remembered by treasured friends & relatives.
Jeanne was proud of her sports accomplishments, especially her teams’ induction into the Newmarket hall of fame for 1953, 1955 and 1956 wins in the Ontario Provincial Championships. Jeanne was also a talented figure skater, which is where she initially caught Grant’s eye.
Jeanne & Grant enjoyed many years at their cottage on Lake Simcoe.
Jeanne worked at the Aurora Nursery school and after her husband passed, Jeanne attended & graduated Seneca College and returned to the workforce.
In honour of Jeanne, a drop-in Celebration of Life will take place on March 30th, between the hours of 1 & 4pm in the Centre Lounge at the Aurora Legion, providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together.
A private service will be held for interment of ashes.
