Beloved wife of the late Earl (2010). Loving mother of Yvonne (Cliff Rose and Brenda (Brian Hachey). Dearest Nana to Elizabeth, Stephanie and the late Michelle.
Joan was an enormous lover of animals, feeding the birds, chipmunks and squirrels. She loved the outdoors, she enjoyed camping, working in her garden, long walks and riding bicycles in her youth.
A big thank you to the Bradford Valley Care Community for their care & compassion throughout her stay there.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON. Public visitation will be held at this location on Monday, December 2, 2014 from 12:30 pm until time of the Funeral Service at 1:30 pm. Burial at Aurora Cemetery following the service.
