Mrs. Louise Cusden Stephens

Passed away at 97 years of age at Scarborough Centenary Health Centre on January 15th, 2011. Beloved wife of David Cecil (Mike) deceased 1967. Dear Mother of Larry (deceased 1989), Trevor and Patricia. Proud mother-in-law of Raymonde (nee Gagnon), Penny (nee Lambert), and Laurent Bourgeault. Loving grandmother of Douglas, Martin, Justin, Anne-Marie, Elizabeth, Rachel, Lanna, Kerry, Troy and Malayah, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She had an exciting and adventurous life. She was born in Farnborough, England in 1914. Louise loved her family, and was also an accomplished pianist. The family loved to gather around her, and listen to her playing the piano. Friends and relatives are welcome to come and visit Louise at the Thompson Funeral Home in Aurora at 530 Industrial Parkway South (Yonge St. and Industrial Parkway South – south of railway underpass) on Thursday Jan 20th from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. A celebration of her life at the Thompson Funeral home will be held on Friday Jan 21st at 1:00pm. Interment at the Aurora Cemetery, and a Reception at the Aurora Royal Canadian Legion will follow. All her family and friends will sadly miss her.
