It is with broken hearts that we announce that Madeline passed away peacefully, in her 93rd year, at Southlake Regional Hospital, December 16, 2016. Loving wife of the late Fred Opasky, dear mother of Terry, Rick, Cindy (Gerry), and Susan (Robert). Cherished grandmother to Deanna, Christopher, Jan, Jessie, Shawn and Jennifer and loving great grandmother to Carter, Cason and Symon. Daughter of the late Jessie and Albert Wilkins and loving sister to Albert, Marion, Hazel, Louisa and Virginia. The love, strength, warmth, kindness, joy, and wisdom she surrounded us with all her life will remain a part of us forever. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Thompson Funeral Home,(530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora) from 2-4 pm, and on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of the Funeral Service which will be held in the chapel at 1:00 o’clock. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
