Neil Alden McGuire

Peacefully at North York General Hospital on August 19, 2015 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Angela (nee Rainone), parents Robert and Ida (Briggs), 3 sisters Betty, Irma and Verna (Bunny) and 2 brothers Marlowe and Gord. Loving Father to Robert (Ethel), Neil Jr., Pennie (Reg), Debra (David), Richard (Helena), Denise Lynn. Grandfather to Meghan, Ashley, Mike, CJ, Kevin (Euri), Heidi, Richard, Jordan and Steven. Great-Grandfather to Kaylee and Elena. Special and beloved Uncle to Theresa (Ross), Alexander and Megan. Sadly missed by 4 brothers Carl (Nancy), Richard (Eldena), Robert (Carolyn) and Donald (Audrey) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Special Thank You to the staff at Gibson Long-Term Care Facility especially Saundra, Katia, Maryse and Aida. Also, Thank You to the dedicated staff at 5SE NYGH especially Val and Desiree, Dr. Mangat and Dr. Lewin. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15347 Yonge St. (north of Wellington St.), Aurora on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
