

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of an amazing woman Patricia with her daughter Lynn by her side peacefully on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022 at the age of 81 years. Cherished mother of Lynn Purich (Steve Owen), wife of Ken. Proud and loving nanny to Lauren, Zachary, Andrew, Ty(Lora) baby Alvi in Australia and her fur friends Bentley and Callie. Dear daughter of the late James Purich and Domenica Purich. Dearly missed loving sister to her brother Charles Purich and wife Nancy. Predeceased by siblings George Purich, Jean Coruzzi, Mary Denny, Vera Moore, Stella Cull and Teresa Urghuart. Patricia (Auntie Pat) will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and lifelong friends who all held a special bond and place in her heart. Born and raised in Chapleau, Patricia dedicated her life as administrator of medical records at Chapleau General Hospital. A talented seamstress and photographer having published two books she enjoyed swimming, figure skating, flying and a love for travel to many destinations. Patricia donated her time to many organizations such as the library, cancer relay, Chapleau Figure Skating Club and town events. Spending time with her daughter Lynn, son-in-law Steve, grandchildren Lauren, Zachary and Andrew were her favorite pastimes in the recent years. Rest easy dear mom, nanny, sister, aunt and friend. You had a life filled with giving, support and love to all whose path you crossed. You have left a legacy behind and have earned your peace. At Patricia’s request cremation has taken place at Thompson Funeral Home, Aurora, ON. Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
