

R. Dennis Schuller, 73, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, in Ontario, Canada. Born on March 18, 1952, in Warren, Ohio, United States, Dennis enjoyed his life, especially his retirement. Before retirement he worked in various positions in the aviation world with most of that time working on jet engines.
Dennis is survived by his devoted wife Dana; his sister Ruth Ann Boesch (husband Don) and his brother Richard (wife Kathy); and his daughters Melissa Potter (partner Troy) and Shannon Gardner (husband Nick). He was a proud grandfather to Blake Potter (wife Kathryne) Dayton Potter (wife Jade), and MacKenzie Gardner, and Liam Gardner. Dennis also embraced Dana's family as his own, including Cara Herrington and Scott Douglas (wife Christina) and grandchildren Kai Herrington and Sam Herrington and Victoria Douglas. He was predeceased by his twin sister J. Denise Atwood and parents William A. and Mary Ella Bennett Schuller.
Dennis and Dana enjoyed lots of travelling together sometimes for work and later for pleasure. Dennis had a passion for golf and enjoyed playing alongside Dana and friends. His love for the game reflected the joy he found in spending time with those he cared about. Known for his warm personality, Dennis had a gift for making people laugh with his stories—short & long—and brought lightheartedness to every gathering. He was known in the neighbourhood as ‘Mr. Fix-It’. He had a deep interest in world events and stayed informed by watching the news and social media. Above all else, Dennis was a loving and caring individual who treasured the company of family and friends. His kindness, humour, and storytelling will be deeply missed by all who knew him, including the puppies Daisy & Brady.
May Dennis's memory bring comfort to those who loved him. Dennis requested that there be no funeral or memorial service Dennis’s favourite charities were the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society(ontariospca.ca), Canadian Cancer Society(cancer.ca) and the Heart & Stroke Foundation(heartandstroke.ca) in lieu of flowers.
