Robert Bruce Slater

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 38 years Susan, his daughter Jennifer and her husband Jon, his sister Beverly, her husband Graham, their daughter Kathryn, and many extended family and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Louise.

Bob had many friends and would often be hours at the grocery store to get only a few items. Bumping into someone he knew, he would always take the time to catch up and see how someone was doing.

Bob loved his family and the outdoors. He had a great respect for nature, and he appreciated the peace it gave him. He will be fondly remembered canoeing across Papineau Lake, walking through the bush at the family farm, hunting and fishing.

He worked tirelessly for those he loved, and he will be forever missed by those who loved him back.

Rest peacefully now, Bob. Thank you for bringing so much love and happiness to our lives.
