I remember Sebi very often, because this tragedy is unbelievable. 
Sebi was a quiet and very smart boy, always surprising you with intelligent observations, notes and comments. My kid Nicholas was constantly telling me, with admiration, that Sebi was acing all the computers games they were playing and he was learning few tricks from him! I can only hope Sebi is in a better place where he can use at maximum his smartness and kindness. I will never forget Sebi!

His humour always astounded me and anyone who shared time with him are so fortunate. 

My favourite memories of Sebastian are at Theatre Aurora and how he let his imagination lead him through rehearsal. He brought so much and asked for so little in return. 

Rest easy, Sebastian. It was a privilege to share the stage with you. 

I knew Sebastian from theatre and also went to ahs with him, I remember the time during a rehearsal we realize we both went to the same school and even had a class together and had no idea. I’m incredibly sorry for your loss, I have only positive memories of him. He was always so kind. 

We all have so little time on this earth that the best thing we can do is enjoy it. We lost contact a little around the end, but I can testify to Sebastian doing just that. 

Not many people can say that they really lived, but as melodramatic as it might sound, one could compare his life to a shooting star. Short and bright. He was so radiant, so kind. He could always make me laugh, make anyone laugh. He deserved more time, but he made use of the time he had and really lived. 

I would like to thank him for making my limited time here just a little brighter.

I am grateful that I got to know Sebastian as a friend and classmate. We went to Newpark and Lester B. Pearson together. I will always remember his exuberant smile and the twinkle he always carried in his eyes. He always had a great imagination. I remember one time when we were in kindergarten, we were watching Dora. Most of the kids were starting to grow out of shows like Dora, but not Sebastian or me. Dora asked the class where an egg was that was on the screen, and when no one answered, Sebastian, without hesitation, happily shouted out, "it's right there Dora!" I just loved his exuberance and his energy.  I knew him up until grade 8 and  he kept that amazing active imagination and exuberance. I will always remember that moment with fondness and happiness for being able to meet such a kind and bright soul. 

Rest in peace Sebastian. My childhood would not have been the same without you. Your light will be missed in this world. I will miss your presence here, but I look forward to seeing you again when I pass.

There was a whale named Tahlequah who gave birth to a calf that lived for less than an hour. Afterward, Tahlequah carried or pushed her dead calf nearly a thousand miles over 17 days, finally dropping it, at which point it was proclaimed that Tahlequah’s “tour of grief” was over. Her grief captivated the world. It was deeply touching because it showed one of our deepest, most fears — the death of a child. 
There is no healing from the loss of a child. There is only learning how to exist in a new reality. The love is still there. It’s endless. 
No amount of words can express the pain that you are going through with the loss of Seby.

Să fi avut Sebi vreo zece, poate unsprezece ani, când s-a întâmplat ce vreau să vă povestesc acum. 
Îmi plăcea să joc diverse jocuri cu copii. Jocuri simple, pentru vârsta lor. Era unul la care le ceream sa spună repede un număr de la unu la zece. Trei, spunea repede copilul iar eu răspundeam patru, te-am bătut, unu-zero pentru mine! Râdeam cu toții și ne distram. Și, in ziua aceea, venise rândul lui Sebi....
Repede, repede, mă precipit eu, Sebică, dă-mi un număr între unu și zece, repede! 
PI, răspunde - de altfel foarte repede - Sebi!
PI!? Găsesc si eu voce să întreb, mirat.
Da, PI, zice Sebi. 3.14159...

Mai țin minte că l-am mângâiat pe cap, plăcut surprins de răspunsul lui. Și de atunci, de fiecare dată când joc același joc, cu alți copii, ma gândesc instinctiv la Sebi și la răspunsul lui genial. 

Dragul meu Sebastian, nu există cuvinte care să exprime neputința și tristețea pe care o simt acum! Îți doresc tot binele, acolo unde ești, in căutarea infinitului!
