Steve was a charming child and it was my great honour to have taught him.  I saw his little boy’s sweet face behind the man he grew to be immediately when I saw his photo.  My heart broke to learn he had struggled in the years that followed.  I send my deepest condolences to his parents, to Eleni, and to their extended family. May Steve rest now in eternal peace; I shall tenderly remember the precious times we shared.

You were one of the first guys I met when our family arrived in Aurora, and one of our first friends. 

Our early days in Preston Thompson place are some of the best memories I have. Whether it was building lego, riding bikes or getting into whatever mischief we could manage, you were always the life of the party and a bright soul. I can still hear your laugh booming across the street as we plotted who to hit with snowballs or what wrestling moves to use on any unsuspecting person. 

The years may have passed but the memories never faded. You’ll be missed more then you could ever imagine. 

We will meet again one day and I’ll keep an eye out for a snowball coming my way until then.

I had met Steve on a few occasions as Mary, his mummy is a friend of many years and of course my hairdresser! On one occasion when Mary was away in her beloved homeland, Greece, Steve stepped in to save the day….a chip of the old block as they say.  Like his mummy he was a gentle soul, with a beaming smile which at once made you feel comfortable and at ease - like you were the only person in the salon.  We chatted all the way through the appointment, and of course he made me look amazing….just like his mummy! When next chatting to Mary we talked as we always did about our kids….we are so proud and blessed to have families filled with love…..and I told her how Steve  had treated me that day, with ease, kindness and caring. He will be remembered with love by me and many who knew him. Sending love and prayer to Mary, Mike, Elle and the family circle.

My dear friend Ellenie, I am so sorry for the loss of your ex-love, your ex-husband Stelios. I remember meeting him briefly twice when I used to live in Oakville. I didn’t know him well but I did feel his love and devotion to you. Whatever inner turmoil brought him to this decision, remember he is now at peace. His higher self is looking upon you with love and light, smiling tenderly at all the good memories you shared together. 

Sending you big hugs Ellenie. Be gentle with yourself during this soul erupting time. You WILL get through this.

I met Stelios when we were just kids; probably 6-7 years old! We were neighbours, our houses opposite each other! I remember we met pretty much every day and played for hours! He was my first love ❤️! I still remember how sad I was when you moved back to Canada.. I wouldn’t see you again for years.. by that time we were all grow ups; you were taking a break from Canada and I was visiting my parents from England. We only spent a few hours together, talking about life and our plans for the future! Know that you are so loved! Your light, your smile, your kindness would literally touch everyone in your path! You’ll always be in my heart!
