With family by his side at Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill on Tuesday February 2, 2016 in his 87th year. Bill, beloved husband of the late Joyce (nee Crawford). Loving father of Warren (Paula Sadler), Beverley (John Hagias) and Brenda. Grandpa will be lovingly remembered by Thomas, Jacob, Ben, Sydney, Evan and Katelyn. Survived by his dear sister Mary Leslie Honer. Predeceased by his parents William Alexander and Grace Kelt (nee Eddington) Melrose both born in Edinburgh, Scotland. Bill had a long and successful career with B.P. Canada in Montreal, Toronto and Calgary for 35 years. He was a very devoted, funny and humble man and was known best for being honest, thoughtful and having a quick wit. A private family service will be held.
