How sad the news of Bill's passing.  I worked with Bill in Geneva and he always remained in my memories and in my heart as one of the best partner's I worked with.  An intelligent and kind man.  A man of direction and of word.  And really one of the funniest people I've met over the years. And with his wife Kathy, a beautiful and enviable couple.

WRR influenced the careers many people at AA& Co. where he was always a strong and imposing fixture. I was fortunate to have known him and although I did not see him often after Andersen, I often thought of him and how he recruited me for that great firm, his positive influence and the fun we had at AA & Co. He was certainly not your stereotype accountant and he recruited well for the firm. Andersen professional staff were and are different and Big Bill was one of the best.

I'll have a scotch tonight in his memory

Although we lost touch for many years, seeing news of Bill's death brought back many childhood memories.  I lived five houses away from the Reynolds' home on King Street West in Chatham.  The Lacroix Street hill next to the Reynold's home, which was all of 10 feet high, was a meeting place for all the neighbourhood kids.  I was by there today and thought of the great times we all had together.  I am sure that you have done a lot of 'recalling' over the past few days and I trust that it helped to ease the sorrow that Bill's passing has brought.  Memories are wonderful and I shall always cherish mine as a boyhood friend of Bill Reynolds.

Tracy and Katie, I missed the announcement as I was away. Please accept that I was with both of you and your mother in spirit. I was glad to hear that your Dads passing on was peaceful. Enjoy the many good memories. He is looking after you.

Aunt Cathy and Tracy,  I have so many great memories of Uncle Bill and you.  I remember coming to Toronto on the train with Anne and spending a week with you at your house.  It was a highlight for summer vacation.  The many trips we went on were great.  Christmas Eve sharades at our house is also a great memory.  Uncle Bill will be missed. I knew Bill when I first joined AA&Co right out of University. My second week at Andersens I was in St Charles (Andersens training facility outside Chicago) when my father passed away suddenly. Bill was the first to my and my families aid, arranging for my immediate return to Toronto and offering kind words and support to my Mom. I will never forget Bills kindness and support to me and my family when it was needed most
