Abelardo O. Lopez, age 83 of Del Valle, Texas passed away on November 13, 2013. He was born on June 21, 1930 to Carmen and Francisca Lopez in Del Rio, Texas. He retired from Hart Graphics where he was a pressman. He enjoyed fishing and horses.
Abelardo is survived by his wife Ofelia L. Lopez; children, Albert D. Homann, Daniel F. Homann, Carlos Lopez, Yvonne Zepeda; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, November 15, 2013 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
