Ace M. Bartlett, age 94, a resident of Austin for 68 years, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2007. He was born January 11, 1912 in McCullough County. After retiring from the City of Austin in 1977, Ace continued working as a real estate appraiser until 1989. Ace and Pauline (Polly) Bartlett were married in 1939 in Brownwood, Texas. Ace is survived by his wife Pauline, and son Tim and wife Marinell and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007 in the Chapel at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Thielepape officiating.
