Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Brother-in-Law, and Uncle

Alfonso "Ponch" Luna, known for his infectious joy and as the life of every party, passed away on September 19, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on December 14, 1964, Ponch lived a life filled with laughter and love. He was a devoted husband to Susan Reynolds Luna and a proud father to Ryan Luna (wife Belen), Brett Luna, and Brenden Luna. He was also a beloved grandfather to Aryana, Gia, Rylen, Giselle, Dominic, and Izabella, who brought him endless joy.

Ponch was a cherished uncle, known for his warmth and fun spirit with his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his brothers, Donald, Daniel Jr., and Ricky Luna, and his sister, Suzanne Luna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Sr. and Eulalia Luna, and his brother, David

Ponch's sense of humor, his ability to make anyone laugh, and his knack for turning every moment into a celebration will live on forever. If you listen closely, you’ll probably hear him telling his favorite joke from beyond: "I’m not gone—I'm just on intermission!" His light and laughter will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
