Alice Hanson, age 70, of Austin, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2003. Alice was born on March 13, 1933 in Harlingen, TX. Alice was an enthusiastic Bingo player. She had many friends here in Austin at the different Bingo Halls. Alice was a military wife, traveling with her husband Ray to many parts of the world. They retired in Austin from Bergstrom Air Force Base in 1972. Alice turned her attention to gardening. Her back yard is a showcase of flowers all year round. When she wasnt gardening she was fishing. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Stickle, in 1978. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Ray; her son, Allan Hanson; a sister, Mary Newton; and niece, Colleen Pinkerton. Visitation will be from 6:00 8:00 P.M., Monday, December 8 at the funeral home. Services will begin at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home.
