

As a military wife she managed all family responsibly and financial duties during Rudy’s military assignment away from home base. This included long assignments, months up to a year and half.
Alice is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, retired Air Force Rudy Salazar, daughters; Sherry and Larry Sharp of New Jersey, Sandy and Edward Buser of Maryland, Roxy and Luis Canjura from Webberville, son, Rusty Salazar and Ken Ernest from Austin. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening, on Monday, the 10th of February 2014, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at seven o’clock in the evening on Monday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at two o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 11th of February 2014, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 10000 David Moore Drive, Austin, Texas 78748 Interment will follow in Austin Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cook-Walden Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers and customary remembrances, the family suggests donations be made to American Lung Cancer Society.
