Amuel was a member of the Dale Volunteer Fire Department for 35 years. He loved serving with his friends and made almost every call out. He also loved helping anyone who needed help. He enjoyed anything tech.-CB’s, radios computers, and his phone. He also enjoyed working with his son on cars and trucks. He worked for LCRA on their line crew for 28 years before retiring at 58.
Amuel is survived by his wife Linda Wier of 62 years, his son Shane Wier and his wife Kem; sisters Gloria Briscoe and Susan Miller and her husband Dennis; brothers Gary Wier and his wife Joan and Joe Weir and his wife Vicki; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Amuel is preceded in death by his parents Amuel Wier Sr. and Myrtle Wier, Brother, Mitchell Wier, and his wife Carol and Brother-In-Law James Briscoe.
