Andrew (A.J.) Krueger was born on July 5, 1924 and passed away on January 12, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Louise Krueger and his long-time companion, Helen Westberg. A.J. is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Lyle, and husband, Pat, and granddaughter, Lacey, all of Dripping Springs. He is also survived by special cousins, Kathy Bruder and friend, Clarence Martin, of Austin and Julie Wiley and husband, Blaine, of Lubbock, and their boys, Hayden and Landon. He also leaves behind his loving Dachshunds, Rocky and Major. A.J. grew up in the Austin area and never met a stranger! He leaves behind many close friends and acquaintances, especially those in his neighborhood. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Rena Biggs and Hospice Austin for their loving care and support. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish North Lamar location, with burial to follow at the Dessau Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may to made to the charity of your choice.
