I miss you mom hopefully everything is good up there and say hello to everybody for me and family

Angie was always like a mother to me.  She made me breakfast before taking me to practice, went to my games, brought me food home from the cafeteria she worked for, and always told me what I needed to hear not what I wanted to hear.  My Angie was my soft place to land, but with her experience, she always gave me advice that helped me mature and grow.  And, just like my Angie, I need a little sweet after every meal.

In my last conversation with Angie, she told me she had a dream about when I was a little girl, and how I wanted to come over and visit and play with her.  It was so hard not being with my Angie, but she still called me to check on me.  I will miss her forever.  Angie was like Wonder Woman to me.


Angie,

You've always glowed with spirit and love,
I was blessed to have you from our Father above.
It was clear that your husband and children filled up your soul.
You were the heart of us all , we are no longer whole.
Your shy smile and kindness always welcomed me in.
As my mother-in-law, you showed me "family" again and again.
We spent so much time together raising Jenn, Ash and Brother.
You seemed to cherish every moment as if there was no other.
I learned so much from you and became a much better mom.
Put family first, love God and yourself and try to keep calm.
It's rare that you meet someone so sweet and easy to love.
My family and friends know that's why I call you "my dove".

My Angie always knew what to say.
My Angie is the one who taught me how to pray.
My Angie did diets that were 3 days long.
My Angie was petite, yet oddly so strong.
My Angie could eat an entire baked chicken all on her own.
My Angie always ordered dessert-- sweetness ran through her bones.
My Angie was sassy but never mean.
My Angie brought a trash bag to my work when I said I could get popcorn for free.
My Angie wore corsages when it was a special day.
My Angie didn’t color her hair, she “rinsed” it, by the way.
My Angie was an expert at hiding things in our food.
My Angie put deer meat in our spaghetti, veggies with our fruit.
My Angie looked after me with such care and affection.
My Angie got after my daycare when my diapers needed attention.
My Angie liked telenovelas- her “stories” as she said.
My Angie let me lay on her lap as she “pulled piojos” from my head.
My Angie lived with us when we were growing up.
My Angie had rules—if you misbehaved you got a golden chancla to your butt.
My Angie took us swimming everyday at Walnut Creek pool.
My Angie drank Pina Coladas, and her vibes were always cool.
My Angie was sent straight from heaven and then back home she was called.
A literal Angel on earth—her name was Angelita after all.
